The breastplate to saddle fitting is used to convert the Brun Breastplate from singles to pairs use. 

It is designed to fit through the slots on the side of the breastplate. The stainless steel buckle attaches to the connecting strap on the saddle and helps to support the breastplate, while the bottom of the strap attaches to the false belly band for stability.
